Ring of Fire is a jukebox musical celebrating Johnny Cash music. The cast tell his remarkable story through some of the greatest songs of one of America's brilliant singer/songwriters. The story travels from Cash growing up on a farm, to the Grand Ole Opry, to meeting June Carter and falling into the "Ring of Fire". A mosaic of American experience featuring "Five Feet High and Rising", "Daddy Sang Base", Ring of Fire", "I Walk the Line", "I've Been Everywhere", the show features the music of Johnny Cash at his highs and lows. . Ring of Fire gives the music the spotlight, as a core group of talented actor/musicians celebrate the songs that are such a part of our collective experience.

Milner Gardens is open every Sunday from February 8th to March 29th. The Gardens and Tea Room will be open from 11:00am to 3:30pm, with last entry at 3:00pm. Adult admission $5, students $3 plus GST. Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult free admission. Come watch the blooms as they unfold and stop in for a cup of tea or a hot bowl of soup. Enjoy the woodland trails, and check out the ocean activity and the view to the islands and mainland with the viewing scope.

The striking exhibition features 100 large-scale, back-lit photographs that include some of the world's most respected nature photographers and wildlife experts.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is co-owned by the Natural History Museum, London, and BBC Worldwide.

In 2014, Shelley Reid (recently retired RBCM Registrar) enjoyed a tour of Alaska and the Yukon, truly the last frontiers of North America. Shelley will share the experiences she had on a variety of expeditions including the Alaskan Railroad into Denali National Park, a sternwheeler cruise on the Chena River and a boat cruise through Prince William Sound. Come and enjoy sights of wildlife on land and sea including grizzly bears, caribou and humpback whales. Urban highlights will include Anchorage, Fairbanks, Dawson City, Whitehorse and the metropolis of Chicken, Alaska (population 17)! Time: Noon - 1:00 PM
