Campers / RV

British Columbia is a popular destination for RV trips. A well-maintained highway network, service stations, and plenty of parks and campgrounds offering RV-specific accommodation make travelling by RV here easy.

Plan a point-to-point trip or check out Driving Routes for suggested trips in the Vancouver, Coast and Mountains region.

RV Rentals

There are a few RV rental companies located close to Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, while others are located throughout the lower mainland.

Some rental companies offer one-way rentals. Check with companies about age and license requirements.

Driving in Winter

Snow tires are recommended for travel during winter. Some highways in BC require snow tires by law. Most rental agencies equip RV’s/campers with snow tires and ski racks to accommodate visitors arriving for ski vacations, but be sure to check in advance.
