Bowen Island is one hour from Vancouver, including a scenic 20-minute ferry ride, and is situated at the mouth of Howe Sound. Kayakers can weave around a multitude of smaller islands, each offering its own brand of scenery and wildlife. Explore the east side from Snug Cove, head north for mountain peak views, or head west for the Pasley Island archipelago and Keats Island.

The River of Golden Dreams is a flat water, serpentine river that winds it's way from Alta to Green Lake in Whistler. No rapids, just some ripple, but the twists & turns will keep you wondering what's around the next corner. Beaver, beaver dams & lodges, eagles, osprey, river otter, black bears, birds that burst off the water in front of your boat & glacier capped mountain views. Warm up on the lake to start then enter the river. Guides are recommended. This trip has been offered for over 100 years & is an annual event for many resort guests. We also rent non-powered boats on Alta Lake.
