The Vancouver, Coast & Mountains region offers a multitude of unique and challenging golf courses.

From the spectacular mountain scenery of Whistler and the Sea-to-Sky corridor to the urban courses of Metro Vancouver and the sprawling agricultural land of the Fraser Valley, there's no shortage of golfing options. The golf season runs approximately from April to October, though the region’s mild climate enables many courses to stay open all year long.

Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Michael Hurdzan and Lee Trevino are just a few of the world-class golf course architects whose designs grace this part of British Columbia.

University Golf Club is a great place to golf, eat, get married, hold meetings or shop! It's no wonder we've been voted #1 public golf course 10+ years in a row by Vancouver Courier readers.

Having been around since 1929, UGC is a traditional course with long, narrow fairways and towering old-growth trees. We are only minutes from the city, but it feels like you're in the country and away from it all. The golf course is accessible to all levels of players and can be walked or driven. With 10 minute tee time intervals, there is no rush.

"Three things make a great golf course, scenery, challenge and fun and my course at Whistler has them all"- Arnold Palmer.
