The delightful story of Coppelia, is one of mistaken identity. Storyteller E.T.A. Hoffmann weaves a tale of a toymaker, his doll, and a young couple in love. Dr. Coppelius, the toy maker, has created a lifelike doll - Coppelia, and wishes to bring her to life. He believes his dream has finally come true only to realize he is caught up in a hilarious lover's spat.
