The Point Grey Fiesta is the community's annual start-of-summer event for families and friends.

Starting with a Saturday parade on West 10th Ave, the celebration continues in Trimble Park with stage performances, activities and exhibitors.

Carnival rides in Trimble Park operate from Friday to Sunday.

With the exception of the carnival rides and midway games, Fiesta entertainment and children's activities are free of charge.

Free the Children and Grouse Mountain present the Whistler Water One Climb on Saturday, June 22nd. The One Climb is an inspiring one-day event to raise money to bring clean water to over 10,000 people in Kenya. Wear blue and join the party at the base of the Grouse Grind, then Climb with hundreds of others. The dance party continues at the top, ending with the amazing Spencer West.

Tough Mudder is a hardcore 16-19 kilometre obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit & camaraderie.

The event has already challenged half a million inspiring participants worldwide.

By running a Tough Mudder challenge, you'll unlock a true sense of accomplishment, have a great time & discover a camaraderie with your fellow participants that's experienced all too rarely these days.

This year's event will take place at Whistler Olympic Park.

After you finish the course, grab a beer & hang out with your fellow Mudders. There'll be a band & lots of food for sale.

Join us June 23, 2013 for the 15th annual Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5k Run/Walk.

This event is Canada's easiest scenic half-marathon, running past beaches, with mountains in the background, and finishing in Stanley Park, with a net drop of 76 metres (250 feet).

The half-marathon start time is 7 am, while the 5k starts at 9 am.
