Presented as an awareness concert for post-traumatic stress disorder and with support from Mood Disorders Association of BC, the Vancouver Peace Choir is thrilled to bring you Brahms' classical choral piece featuring Piano Pinnacle and solos by Baha Poureslami and George Roberts. The concert will also feature In Paradisum, a thoughtful and inspiring composition by local Vancouver composer Chris Sivak. The Vancouver Peace Choir is under the direction of Dan Kocurek.

In the exhibition 'PigaPicha!', the East African photo tradition is presented and documented as a chapter of its own in the international history of photography. 'PigaPicha!' highlights the history of portrait photography in Nairobi and gives a comprehensive overview of this form of urban culture, which is one of the most creative fields in modern East Africa. The exhibition is produced by Iwalewa-Haus and the Afrikaarchiv (DEVA) of the University of Bayreuth, Germany. Join us for a special opening party on November 25 at the Museum of Anthropology.

The Calgary Grey Cup Committee will bring their western hospitality to the TELUS Street Festival, providing FREE pancakes for thousands!

During the event the CGCC will be joined by a country band, their mascot (Charlie Horse), the Calgary Stampede Queen, her two Princesses, the Indian Princess and 2 members of city council.

The CGCC has been going to the host Grey Cup city every year since 1948 promoting the City of Calgary and the Calgary Stampede. Today's CGCC consists of over 75 volunteers who work tirelessly for 12 months planning logistics and events.
