Begin your day with a visit to the Haney Farmers Market, followed up with lots of interactive activities for children and families. The official ceremonies, flag-raising and awards will begin at 12:30 pm. Entertainment, singing, dancing, activities, food and fun continue throughout the day. The people of Steveston have come together every year since 1945 to celebrate Canada's birthday & the rich heritage of their community.
The day begins with a parade through the historic village. After the official opening, the stage bursts with great entertainment all afternoon.
Festival highlights include the Japanese cultural show, craft fair, trade show, an awesome children's festival, Funtastic inflatables and mini midway, martial arts demonstrations, youth rock fest, food fair plus an art show and exhibit.
The main attraction is our famous salmon barbecue where over 1200 pounds of wild salmon fillets are grilled over open fire pits.

The Whistler Longboard Festival takes place July 4-7, 2013. It's a crazy, kinetic celebration of skateboarding in summer. This year will be the 13th year for Tour de Delta. Tour de Delta attracts over 200 of the best cyclists from across the world. Tour de Delta will again feature the Friday evening MK Delta Criterium event in the Social Heart of North Delta. Taking place on a 1.2 km route, this race will bring you the same hair-raising excitement as the popular Brenco Criterium on Saturday night in Ladner. The exciting weekend of racing will end with the White Spot | Delta Road Race, an internationally sanctioned 1.2 UCI event through the streets of Tsawwassen.
