This special tour of the BC Sports Hall of Fame gains you access behind the scenes at BC Place, one of Canada's most modern stadiums. Join us as we walk exclusively through areas of the stadium such as the media rooms, luxury suites and the locker rooms of the BC Lions and the Vancouver Whitecaps (when available). You even get to walk onto the actual field and enjoy a tremendous view of BC Place. Afterwards visitors can relive the excitement of the 2010 Olympics Games in the Hall of Fame's Vancouver 2010 Gallery and participate in numerous interactive activities in the participation zone.

Tours run at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

One of the largest Latin American film festivals in Canada, showcasing films from over a dozen countries.

This year VLAFF will be hosting Chile as a guest country, with a retrospective on Chilean actor Manuela Martelli. For the first time, VLAFF will be screening a series of Afro-Cuban films at the Museum of Anthropology in UBC as part of their exhibition "Without Masks: Contemporary Afro-Cuban Art."

VLAFF is a registered non-profit charitable organization with the mission to provide a forum for the promotion and exhibition of Latin American cinema in Vancouver. This annual festival promotes dialogue among cultures and explores the art of contemporary Latin American cinema through the eyes of its filmmakers.

Venture into our city's most gruesome history - when Vancouver was a frontier town of hustlers and thieves, vagabonds and bawdy girls. You will hear stories of: Vancouver's first madam, who built a glamorous Gastown bawdy house before the city even had a school; a long-forgotten plague that clutched the city in its feverish grasp; the terror of the fire that ate-up Gastown in minutes and sent people sprinting for their lives down Water Street; a Klondike Gold Rush beauty, who had her heart broken - and her pocketbook looted - by a ruthless theatre magnate; and, the city's oldest unsolved murder - the death of prospector John Bray.

The tour ventures through Gastown, where many of Vancouver's most historic buildings are located.

Experience the world of a cop in the 1920s when Vancouver was a seething hub of sex, drugs, booze and organized crime. Your 90-minute walking tour takes you through the streets and alleys of Chinatown on the lookout for brothels, bootlegging joints, gambling houses and opium dens. This is a must-see tour for anyone looking for the edgier side of this great city!

Tours leave promptly on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm, and on Saturdays at 11:00 am. Tours are strictly limited in size, so please book your tickets at least 24 hours in advance.

Tickets: $20 for adults, $16 for students/seniors. Both include admission to the Vancouver Police Museum for the whole day.
