Rafting Tours
Take an exhilarating whitewater ride down the mighty Fraser River, which flows 1,375km/870mi south from Mount Robson into the Strait of Georgia. Choose a classic whitewater rafting descent with rapids ranging from class I - IV, or take a laid-back, scenic float and watch for bear, moose, eagles or salmon. Scenery highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and Rearguard Falls, where leaping chinook salmon can be seen on their annual fall migration.
All guided whitewater rafting trips begin with a safety course covering proper equipment use and best practices when rafting. All equipment is provided. Visitors can choose from two local operators, Stellar Descents White Water Rafting and Mount Robson Whitewater Rafting. Gentler floats down the Fraser via large rafts (with no paddling involved) are also available with Eagle Raft Tours.
