Valemount has a small variety of casual dining options, including pubs, hotel restaurants, and fast food establishments.

Pubs

The Loose Moose Neighbourhood Pub is the local sports bar/pub of choice. It has a full menu with pub classics and original entrees. Another choice is the Log'n Rail Bar, down the street from the Valemount and Area Museum. The Log'n Rail is part of the Valemount Hotel, which also features the China House Restaurant.

Other Local Restaurants

The Caribou Grill, housed in a rustic log and stonework building, has a good wine list and offers views of the Caribou, Monashee and Rocky mountains. The Summit Grill at the Best Western Hotel and the Great Escape Restaurant are also great options in the heart of town. The Dduk Bae Ki House has a menu combining Korean and Japanese cuisines.
