Now entering its ninth year, Grizfest is entertaining in its beautiful mountain setting, great music & a community who is committed to the success of the festival. The festival is a family-oriented event that includes a wide variety of activities. The festival is always held on the August long weekend. Run with the goats. Cruise with the caribou. Or trot with the ptarmigan. Rise to the challenge that awaits you in Tumbler Ridge! This mountain Half Marathon is a unique race on the circuit, & will be your most memorable. Starting near treeline, climb over 2000 feet to the summit of Babcock Mountain. There claim your reward in the spectacular open terrain at the top of the mountain as you begin the descent home. The skyline to the west is a tableau of rugged limestone and snow of the Northern Rockies in summer.
The Emperor's Challenge is designed for all comers.
