Tofino Food & Wine Festival celebrates the marriage of food & wine in the beautiful Tofino Botanical Gardens.

The festival is both a destination weekend for out of town guests & a favourite for locals. This is because of the unique setting, as well as the excellent quality of food & wine provided by local chefs & winemakers.

The main event, Grazing in the Gardens, showcases local culinary talents & British Columbia wines.

It is truly a memorable weekend & a wonderful way to experience the west coast.

The festival events support several non-profit organizations & initiatives.

Imagine achieving marathon success surrounded by crisp ocean air, lush forests and the warm and friendly people of Ucluelet and Tofino. It is a day that will be etched in your memory for many years to come!

You will follow an undulating course from the town of Tofino to the village of Ucluelet. Marathon and relay teams will run on beautiful Chesterman's Beach in Tofino and through the Pacific Rim National Park, while half marathoners will be treated to a run on the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet.

The Tofino Saltwater Classic Fishing Derby was created by the National Hockey League's Brendan Morrison as a fundraiser for Tofino community iniatives. In it's 4th year, the Derby will welcome more than 100 anglers. A full weekend event that includes Welcome Event with Brendan Morrison, Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday night and Prize ceremony on Sunday afternoon, plus 2 full days of fishing! The Tofino Lantern Festival is our 'signature' community event and fundraiser, drawing the young and old with an unbelievable variety of handmade lanterns. The Tofino Lantern Festival was born in 2001 & since then has grown to feature local musicians and artists and includes a 'permanent collection' of locally created West Coast lanterns. Many of these lanterns are modeled on local flora and fauna, such as mushrooms, sharks, flowers, fish, owls, banana slugs and trees, but there is also a village worth of houses, a constellation of stars, a galaxy of planets, a yard of recycling lanterns and much, much more.
