See the diverse nature of the Thompson Okanagan while traveling along one of the dozen driving routes that pass through the region.
There is a large selection of guided tours, many of which focus on enjoying Okanagan wineries. Feeling more adventurous? Join a tour that's headed for rivers or ranchlands.
Self-Guided Driving Tours
Weave through orchards and vineyards on the Mountains & Vineyards Circle Route, or along routes near Oliver and Armstrong. Cool off by swimming or boating on the Lakes & Trails Circle Route, which passes by Canada's only true desert near Osoyoos, and the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at Mount Robson.
Wine touring is one of the most popular ways to see (and taste) the Okanagan. There are also plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors. Ride through ranchlands on a guided horseback trail ride, or bounce through rapids on a whitewater river rafting tour. Lake kayaking and bear watching are some other activities to experience with a guide.
