Culinary tours in the Thompson Okanagan are the perfect complement to the region's wineries and vineyards.
Explore orchards, farmers markets and roadside fruit stands, along with more than 120 wineries in and around the Okanagan Valley.
Guided culinary tours, such as those from Swallow Tail Tours, can combine gourmet cuisine with cycling or snowshoeing. Try a self-guided farm tour to treat tastebuds to locally-created creamy cheeses, sweet jams and artisan breads year-round.
Of course, culinary vacations in the Thompson Okanagan region aren't complete without touring the award-winning wineries, craft breweries and cideries. Some wineries, like Mission Hill Winery and Hester Creek Winery, also host cooking schools and classes.

300 Covert Place
Oliver, British Columbia
Established in 1959, Covert Farms Family Estate Winery is located on 650 acres of bench land and winemaker Gene Covert is a 3rd generation farmer who worked this land with his father and grandfather.
Our certified organic estate vineyards are influenced by the majestic McIntyre Bluff and managed with biodynamic practices. We craft wines with minimal intervention, using natural fermentation when possible to focus on vineyard and fruit. Our white wines display purity of fruit and a crisp natural acidity coveted by other growers, and ultra low yields result in terroir-focused artisan reds that are luscious and age-worthy.
