The Shuswap Lake International Writers' Festival brings together writers, readers, published authors, editors and publishers in an exciting and stimulating 3 day festival. The full festival registration includes a Friday night coffee house, Saturday night Storytellers' Party, a day and a half of workshops (all day Saturday and Sunday morning), as well as Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch.

Provincial Fiddle Contest sponsored by the Kelowna Old Time Fiddlers. Concert Friday May 31 - guest artist and 3 times Grand Master Champion, Mark Sullivan.

The 29th Funtastic Sport & Music Festival is North America's Largest Slo-pitch Tournament & Music Festival. Every July long weekend since 1985, visitors and locals play ball by day and enjoy classic rock under the stars each night.

Classic rock fans come from far and wide to enjoy great music, good friends and beautiful lakes around Vernon. As well as 3 nights of Rock & Roll, you can golf, enjoy the beaches, cruise on a pontoon boat, water ski, or visit the Farmers Market and Silver Star Resort, or just kick back and enjoy the days catching some slo-pitch.

It's a wonderful weekend of remembering Elvis through his wonderful music and through touching stories from those who knew him as well as his fans.

The Civic Plaza in downtown Vernon is a free, outdoor concert featuring local musicians.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and come take in the sounds of the evening while the sun goes down. This year's bands are: The Mumble Bees, The Legendary Lake Monsters, The Shawn Lightfoot Band, Cheaper than a Porsche, The Younguns, Kath & The Tom Kats, The Goods and Cod Gone Wild. Musical all-star Michael Burgess brings his music back to the winery on July 31st! Performing in CedarCreek's spectacular Vineyard Pavilion, the gates will open to ticket patrons at 6:30 pm with the concert beginning at 7:00 pm and playing until the sun sets. This is a charity event and proceeds will be donated to the Rotary Centre for the Arts.

Celebrate the 22nd Anniversary of this world class music event! The Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival is the premiere multicultural music festival of the BC Interior featuring numerous first class acts on multiple stages. The festival showcases an eclectic array of music including exhilarating world rhythms, stirring roots, gospel music and the finest blues stylings north of the Mississippi. Roots and blues takes place on a beautiful 7.2 ha site in Salmon Arm, halfway between Calgary and Vancouver. Amenities include beverage gardens, an artisan market, global food village, children's area and pre-registered camping. Children 12 and under are free.
