Summer Homecoming is designed to captivate the community spirit of the people who love Christina Lake. Everyone is encouraged to come and bring their family and friends to the festivities. We also invite all artists, craftspeople, entrepreneurs, businesses, organizations, musicians and performers to showcase their talents, provide demos, advertise and fundraise for their organization, inform and bring awareness. We want to showcase how our community shines!
The Festival begins at 7:00 pm at The Christina Living Arts Centre for a Wine & Cheese Social & Volunteer Appreciation Event.

Party in the park is a free drop in recreational program for children 8+. We will be going around to various parks in and around Salmon Arm playing games with the children. The children are free to come and go and there is no registration required. We will be out at the scheduled park rain or shine with a bunch of fun games to play. On Sunday July 13 the Friends of Fintry will hold the fourth annual Fintry Summer Fair, celebrating BC Parks Day on the scenic lawns of the Manor House. The Fair will be open from 10 am until 4 pm with artists, artisans & others exhibitors.
Musical entertainment will continue throughout the day, starting with the Kalamalka Pipe Band marching at 11:00 am. The North Westside Fire Fighters will bring their heavy equipment and will organize demonstrations. Children's games will begin at 11:30 am. A paid BBQ lunch will be served from 11 am to 2:30 pm. Entry to the grounds will cost $5 for adults and $2 for youths 11-18. There will be no charge for Members of the Society & children.
