Everyone who owns a bicycle (mountain bike, commuter/hybrid bike cyclo-cross bike, E-bike, any bike) is invited to the first annual Okanagan Trestle Tour on the BC's Trans-Canada Trail. Experience It! This self-paced recreational ride is not a timed race, but the chance to do a one-day trip on one of the most scenic regions in all of BC - the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail. This 80km route starts with 18 trestles and two tunnels and is flat for the first 36km. with an easy 2.2% decline to Penticton. Registration includes a special event t-shirt, BBQ, entertainment & wine expo.

It is our 30th Annual Skwlax International Pow Wow. Pow Wows are not just fun events, but also sacred events. Aboriginal food, arts and crafts booths, Princess Pageant. The Squilax Pow Wow is held the 3rd week in July and is one of the highlights of the summer. It celebrates the First Nations traditions of 3 local bands. An array of dances, including the jingle dress dance and the grass dance are performed.
