Artists and artisans from all around Surrey will open their studio doors and provide a unique opportunity to showcase their original work to both visitors and residents. Through demonstration, exhibition, and engagement, visitors to the studios will receive a meaningful and enlightening experience on the arts in Surrey. 14 artists and artisans will be featured at 10 different locations around the city. At each site, gain a unique opportunity to watch an artist work on their craft: from using watercolours to create gorgeous landscapes to watching glass blowing in action. Registration opens at noon with the famous group shot taken at 2:00 pm. After the photo, the crowd will be organized into three groups that will trick or treat throughout downtown Cloverdale, the Brick Yard Station & Clover Square Village Mall. The outdoor plaza will host registration & a number of photo opportunities with a 900 lb pumpkin grown by Maurizio Camparmo aka: The Pumpkin Dude.

The Costume Parade & Pumpkin Power will feature a number of indoor activities at the museum with crafts & colouring contests along with a special exhibit from Cinemazoo which will show scary creatures like tarantulas & skunks along with many other scary reptiles. This family oriented event is free to attend.
