The 12th Annual Penticton Elvis Festival brings Elvis fans from far and wide to come celebrate the King of Rock & Roll - ELVIS PRESLEY! With dozens of tribute artists gracing the outdoor stages set around picturesque Okanagan Lake along with special guests - Friends of Elvis.

It's a wonderful weekend of remembering Elvis through his wonderful music and through touching stories from those who knew him as well as his fans.

Everyone who owns a bicycle (mountain bike, commuter/hybrid bike cyclo-cross bike, E-bike, any bike) is invited to the first annual Okanagan Trestle Tour on the BC's Trans-Canada Trail. Experience It! This self-paced recreational ride is not a timed race, but the chance to do a one-day trip on one of the most scenic regions in all of BC - the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail. This 80km route starts with 18 trestles and two tunnels and is flat for the first 36km. with an easy 2.2% decline to Penticton. Registration includes a special event t-shirt, BBQ, entertainment & wine expo.

The RCMP Musical Ride represents a colourful Canadian tradition. The troop of 32 horses and riders perform a variety of cavalry drills, choreographed to music. Working through a unique medium, they support the RCMP community policing efforts throughout Canada. The Musical Ride was developed in 1876 by early members of the North-West Mounted Police to display their riding ability and entertain the local community. It has evolved over the decades into a uniquely Canadian performance, enjoyed by tens of thousands of spectators every year.

The 2013 Investors Peach Classic Triathlon will be the 31st running of this long standing event. The Peach Classic Triathlon is the oldest running triathlon in the BC interior having first started in 1983. The race includes both Olympic and Sprint distances. This year the race will be covered live by 4 internet cameras. Finish, swim, transition bike/run. You'll be able to watch it on this site. It will also be recorded for later viewing
