The only year-round dining options in Stewart are the King Edward Hotel & Motel dining room and coffee shop, and the Silverado Café.

Both are downtown, within a block of each other on 5th Avenue. From May to mid-September, two more eateries open for business. As well, Hyder, Alaska, has several dining out locations.

Year-Round Restaurants

The King Edward's lounge is well known for its Alaskan king crab dinner and its large portions. The menu is mainly pub food. The Silverado Café is a pizzeria with a full menu including burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and fish and chips. The café also serves breakfast.

Stewart also has two grocery stores on its main street where visitors can stock up to cook meals. The smaller of the two, Harbour Light General Store, also sells coffee and has a table where customers can sit, relax, and chat with locals.
