The 29th Funtastic Sport & Music Festival is North America's Largest Slo-pitch Tournament & Music Festival. Every July long weekend since 1985, visitors and locals play ball by day and enjoy classic rock under the stars each night.

Classic rock fans come from far and wide to enjoy great music, good friends and beautiful lakes around Vernon. As well as 3 nights of Rock & Roll, you can golf, enjoy the beaches, cruise on a pontoon boat, water ski, or visit the Farmers Market and Silver Star Resort, or just kick back and enjoy the days catching some slo-pitch.

Visit Downtown Vernon every Friday throughout July & August and be welcomed to the sounds of local musicians on our streets. Various genres of music on different blocks throughout the summer. Stop to watch a local artist making their art right on the street. Enjoy shopping in any of our unique shops, open late for you to explore. Sit down to dinner on an outdoor patio After dinner, take a stroll and check out one of the many cultural spots in Downtown or enjoy a drink in one of our pubs or clubs. The Civic Plaza in downtown Vernon is a free, outdoor concert featuring local musicians.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and come take in the sounds of the evening while the sun goes down. This year's bands are: The Mumble Bees, The Legendary Lake Monsters, The Shawn Lightfoot Band, Cheaper than a Porsche, The Younguns, Kath & The Tom Kats, The Goods and Cod Gone Wild. Weather permitting.
