Visit Downtown Vernon and explore over 25 amazing murals that depict the history, culture, scenery, and folklore that made the city what it is today. Vernon boasts one of the largest outdoor public art galleries in Canada. All of the murals have been created from original photographs and depict actual Vernon and area residents. The murals cover many walls of our business district with some pieces as large as 91 m (300 ft) long & 9.1 m (30 ft) high! Pick up your self-guided map at the Vernon Visitors Centre or Downtown Vernon Association office.

Founded in 1867, Historic O'Keefe Ranch tells the story of ranching in BC. Guests tour the opulent O'Keefe Mansion, the heritage boardwalk, visit artisans, view antique farm equipment, see ancient breed farm animals and can view a intricate model railway upstairs at the Greenhow Museum. Visit the Rose Garden and St. Anne's Church, both popular venues for weddings and enjoy some heritage candy at the site of the original Okanagan post office. Horse and pony rides are offered, events are hosted and visitors can also camp in our small on site and unserviced campground. Restaurant and gift shop on site.
