Sicamous Dining

Dining in Sicamous is typical of a resort community that's also a convenient rest stop on the Trans-Canada Highway. It's no surprise to find a couple of good truck-stop diners and fast food outlets. While a number of restaurants close seasonally, the local mainstays serve reliably good food year round.

Dockside Dining

Sicamous Channel, the narrow waterway that connects Mara and Shuswap lakes, is busy with houseboats and hungry houseboaters. Moose Mulligans Marine Pub & Dining Room (1122 Riverside Ave) is a longstanding institution overlooking all the action. A few doors down the street, locals love the Channel House Café (1202 Riverside Ave) for its homemade soup and real roast beef or turkey sandwiches on homemade bread.

Lunch with a View

Another local favourite is Loggers Restaurant and Lounge at Hyde Mountain Golf Course. Known for its terrific view of Mara Lake, dine indoors or on the deck. Boaters can take the free shuttle up to the restaurant from the docks.
