Farms & Markets
Fresh produce
The Sunshine Coast's farmers markets deliver farm-fresh organic produce, arts and crafts by local artists, live music, and much more.
The Sechelt Farmers Market is the biggest and most dynamic farmers market in this green-minded coastal region.
Sechelt Farmers Market
The Sechelt Farmers Market operates every Saturday between April and October. The venue is the parking lot of the Raven's Cry Theatre (5559 Sunshine Coast Hwy.), where vendors sell locally produced eggs, jams, vegetables, pottery, leather items, glassware, and much more.
Enjoy accordion music while strolling among the booths, and visit the adjacent House of Chiefs museum to learn more about local First Nations culture.

Just 23km/14mi south on Highway 101 from Sechelt, the Fiddlehead Farmers Market takes place behind the Gibsons Curling Rink in White Tower Park each Saturday from mid-June to mid-October. Scoop up fresh zucchini, lettuce, carrots, and new potatoes from local growers, purchase locally produced soaps, candles, jewelry, garden supplies and artwork, or enjoy the folksy sounds of local singers and bands. The Fiddlehead Farmers Market was founded in 2007 and continues to grow in popularity as locals "go green."
Another inviting option is the Gibsons Landing Sunday Market. It runs every Sunday at Holland Park from June to September. In a scenic location overlooking the Gibsons Marina, customers can pick up organic vegetables, stock up on homebaked goodies and preserves, and shop for pottery and glassware. Visitors travelling back to Vancouver from the Langdale ferry terminal near Gibsons can also buy Sunshine Coast arts and crafts at the summer crafts fair there. The fair runs on selected days and offers woodwork, jewelry, soaps, photos, and more.
