A little bit of Vegas will invade the Vancouver Convention Centre West for the Edgewater Casino Night!

The event will showcase 'play money' casino game favourites like blackjack, roulette and craps. Plus the night is a fundraiser for the BC Lions' Alumni Dire Needs Fund in Vancouver, so you'll be giving back to the community too. CFL Alumni will act as dealers as well as participants to interact with you. Cocktails will be available at a cash bar as well as circulating appetizers (which is included).

Canyon Lights, has a tall order this year - laying claim to the home of the world's tallest living Christmas tree! Standing 46.4 m (152 ft) tall, this Douglas-fir will be adorned in thousands of sparkling lights.

Though other communities claim to have the tallest living Christmas tree, Capilano's 250 year old Douglas-fir rises above the competition.

Park guests will be dazzled by the thousands of lights glittering throughout the rainforest, across the Suspension Bridge & on CLIFFWALK. A children's scavenger hunt, gingerbread cookie decorating, sing-a-long carols with the holiday band are all back by public demand and new this year create your own Christmas card and enjoy holiday treats in the Winter Pavilion.

Similar to a torch relay, fans will be selected to carry the Grey Cup to the Tailgate Party at BC Place Stadium for the big game!

For its third consecutive year the devoted fans of our League will bring the Grey Cup to the Grey Cup Championship Game - this year at BC Place. The Grey Cup Fan March will see thousands of fans come together on Grey Cup Sunday to march the Cup through the streets of Vancouver from Jack Poole Plaza to the Festival party outside BC Place, handing it at last to Commissioner Mark Cohon.

This annual Christmas tradition began more than 50 years ago in Coal Harbour with one boat decorated with Christmas lights. Today, more than 50 boats festooned with 100,000-plus twinkling lights can be seen gliding through Vancouver's waterways on peak evenings. The spectacle viewed from shore is free, but the best experience is aboard the carol ships themselves, which carry more than 30,000 guests every season. Tickets for different ships range in price & offerings.

Mark your calendar! The first Sunday in December is the official date of the 11th annual Rogers Santa Claus Parade.

PARADE ROUTE:

At 1:00 pm, the parade will begin at West Georgia Street and Broughton, travel east along West Georgia, turn south on Howe and finish at Howe and Davie.

This year's Rogers Santa Claus Parade will feature marching bands, dance troupes, festive floats and community groups, which entertain over 300,000 spectators. Produced by Rogers Communications Inc., the televised Parade is one of the Lower Mainland's biggest winter event!
