After a day of hiking or skiing, it's hard to beat a leisurely soak in the pools of one of the local mineral hot springs.

These miracles of nature occur frequently in British Columbia, especially in the area to the south and east of Revelstoke.

Halcyon Hot Springs

One of the best in the province is Halcyon Hot Springs. Enjoyed in its natural state since ancient times, this mineral spring has been developed in one form or another for more than 100 years. The current facility, which opened in the late 1990s, employs modern filtration and treatment technology to produce crystal clear, odourless water for the resort's three outdoor pools. The temperatures of the pools are hot, very hot, and extremely cold!
