Revelstoke caters to both highway travellers and a growing number of people who are vacationing in town.
There are more than a dozen hotels and motels in and around town, more than a few B&Bs, and a good selection of camping facilities. Luxury condo rentals are also available at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Hotels and B&Bs
Hotels in Revelstoke can offer extras like indoor pools, on-site dining, interesting artwork, or rooms with kitchenettes. Revelstoke also has more than a dozen bed and breakfasts to choose from, some of which are in heritage buildings.
Choose from national parks, provincial parks and more than a few private campgrounds.
Mount Revelstoke National Park offers remote wilderness camping, but for vehicle-accessible sites, travel east to Illecillewaet or Loop Brook in Glacier National Park. Only a few sites can handle the largest recreational vehicles, and RV hookups are not available.
Blanket Creek Provincial Park has vehicle campsites, a swimming lagoon and playground. Martha Creek, the only provincial park on Lake Revelstoke, is a popular recreation spot for locals and has campsites, a sandy beach and a cooking shelter.
Combine RV or tent camping with a soak at either Canyon Hot Springs, 35km/22mi east of Revelstoke, or Halcyon Hot Springs, 68km/42mi south on Highway 23.
