Get in the Yuletide spirit and visit Rossland on the first weekend in December. Our fantastic boutiques shops will have their doors open, with fantastic deals, draws and ideas for that special someone on your Christmas list. Santa will join us for a parade down Columbia Ave, and there will be a host of other activities for the little ones. A winter outdoor market and the lighting of the Christmas tree in downtown Rossland will be some of the many things that will delight you! One of Canada's longest standing winter carnivals, the 116th winter carnival again will have a winter beer garden and entertainment stage in the newly renovated downtown core of Rossland, BC. Renowned for homemade bob-sled races, a snowboarding competition and live music over the span of a weekend, the winter carnival is a great way to enjoy what a skiing community has to offer.
