Dining
Although Princeton is a small town, its location on Highway 3 at a convenient stopping point between Vancouver and the Okanagan Valley leads to a good variety of dining options.
Many of the usual fast food outlets are represented and there's no problem getting a pizza or Chinese food.
But local favourites also include restaurants where the emphasis is on good home cooking with fresh ingredients.
Big Breakfast
Insiders claim that Billy's Family Restaurant (301 Vermillion Ave) serves the best breakfast in town – all day. This eatery is also known for great baked goods.
Lunch Legends
Cowboy Coffee (#9 - 136 Tapton Rd) is a regional java franchise where the homemade soup and sandwiches rate high with locals.

Pub Food Favourites
For good pub food like burgers, ribs, steak sandwiches and fish and chips, try the Brown Bridge Pub (265 Vermillion Ave).
Sushi
Cowboy country might not be the first place to look for quality sushi, but it's here just the same, at Mikado Sushi (130 Bridge St).
Cool Views
Overlooking the Similkameen River, The Copper Mountain Bar & Grill (110 Bromley Place) delivers Princeton's best scenery. Don't be surprised if a bear walks into view. Down the road in Hedley (33.7km/21mi east) the Hitching Post Restaurant (916 Scott Ave) is located in a century-old building with a great sightline to the cliff-hanging Mascot Mine. Refuel on the chef's fresh daily special before taking the mine tour.
Upscale Dining
Locals recommend two spots for higher end dining. Belaire Restaurant (161 Vermillion Ave) is downtown next to the courthouse and features homemade food with a Canadian flavour.
Stop by the Princeton Visitor Centre at 105 Hwy 3 East where staff can provide information and brochures on area restaurants.
