Golf lovers will find many well-manicured golf courses in and near Prince George.

The most city-central, posh golf course is the Prince George Golf & Curling Club (2515 Recreation Place), located off of Highway 16 between Highway 97 and Ferry Avenue. This golf course, established in 1946, has 18 holes rated at par 71. Facilities include a grass tee driving range, restaurant, racquetball and squash courts, meeting and banquet rooms, and catering.

Alder Hills Golf Course (Giscome Rd) is approximately 8 minutes east of Prince George when driving along Highway 16 and Old Caribou Highway. This 18-hole, par 3 golf course has a small gully running through the course and conifer trees growing along the edges. The tees boxes are made of natural turf. There is also a clubhouse and a driving range.
