Come along and watch some excellent youth soccer matches at the Les Sinnott Memorial Boys Provincial Cup tournament (formerly the B Boys Cup).
The tournament is an eight team round robin leading to single elimination knockout matches. It features the under 13 and under 15 age groups.
It is hosted by 100 Mile House and District Youth Soccer Association.

Be a Pioneer Kid for a whole week at Huble Homestead Historic Site! School aged children can learn all about being a kid 100 years ago by getting their hands dirty with pioneer chores and then learning old fashioned games and crafts, playing with pioneer toys, and getting a taste of history by helping make delicious treats like butter and ice cream. Registration must be completed through our partner, Big Brothers Big Sisters PG (bbbspg.ca). The site will remain open to regular visitors.

In 2013, we are celebrating the 150th anniversary of John Giscome's arrival at Lhedesti, later known as the Giscome Portage! This is a multi-cultural event, featuring Jamaican, Caribbean, and First Nations dishes, as well as music and demonstrations. Learn about the history of the trail through the centuries, take a guided tour of the Portage, and visit the Salmon Valley Post Office in the upper parking lot to learn about the geography and plants on the trail. Be sure to stop into the General Store for our season-end sale, and buy some vegetables from our garden!
