Three small breweries in Penticton produce a variety of traditional beers, including lagers, pale and dark ales, porters and stouts.
Located in a converted fruit cannery, the Cannery Brewing Company offers tastings in the retail shop and a window on the brewing process; call ahead to arrange a tour. Cannery Brewing produces a wide selection of beer styles that include its Naramata Nut Brown Ale, Blackberry Porter, Apricot Wheat Ale, Anarchist Amber Ale and more.
The Barley Mill Brewpub makes the beer right on-site and serves it in its western themed pub and family-friendly bistro.
Tin Whistle Brewing Company comes up with deadly names for their brews like Black Widow Ale and Killer Bee Dark Honey Ale, but it also has some sweeter offerings, such as the Peaches ‘n Cream Okanagan Fruit Ale and Chocolate Cherry Porter.

The first fully licensed distillery in the South Okanagan, producing fine spirits & liqueurs from locally grown fruit, grapes & wine. With inherited knowledge from our ancestors in Germany, we create fine single fruit eaux de vies (colourless, traditional European-style brandies distilled from unsweetened, fermented Okanagan fruit). Cherry, apricot & pear sips come alongside with fruit liqueur, maple liqueur & grappa-style "Skinny", a traditional Italian grape brandy. You won't find the Maple Leaf Spirits label in any liquor stores yet, so be sure to call ahead to book your visit for a unique experience & souvenir of Penticton. Tours also in German & French.
