Valentina Atton offers aromatherapy massages, reflexology, Reiki sessions, and other healing treatments at her own White Tara Healing Arts & Spa in Hope Bay. Try a seaweed wrap, foot detox or a four-hour luxury spa package. Another option: The Spa at the Driftwood Centre.

Healing Arts Practioneers
Reiki master Shelley Easthope utilizes shiatsu, reflexology, and cranial-sacral work in her treatments at the Medicine Beach Clinic near North Pender's Magic Lake Estates. She hosts an annual week-long "Just Reiki" intensive retreat in early June. Registered physiotherapist Mieke Truijen offers treatments and leads osteofit and pilates mat classes at her Magic Lake clinic (3270 Rum Road).
Tai Chi and Yoga
Drop-in tai chi classes are held regularly at the Pender Islands Community Hall along with the occasional yoga workshop. Regularly scheduled yoga classes are also held at Revolutions Fitness (Driftwood Centre) and Poets Cove Resort. Marcia Olmstead leads viniyoga classes at her oceanview South Pender studio (8830 Canal Road).
B&B Options
Enjoy massages and other spa-style treatments in the comfort of one's own B&B accommodations. Registered massage therapist Patricia Gale's mobile spa services are available by appointment. Hope Bay's waterfront Morning Moon B&B utilizes neighboring White Tara Healing Arts for treatments. An on-site yoga class is part of the deal at Spirit of the Waters Vacation Home.
