Biking

Pemberton Bike Co is a good place to start for mountain biking, since they're the all-in-one sales, rental, techie and resource centre for the area's mountain bike trails, easy pedaling paths and everything in between.
Although Pemberton puts out a comprehensive, multi-use Trail Map, biking routes in particular are constantly evolving so it's worth checking up on any changes.
Mountain Bike Trail Areas
Trail areas are divided into five core regions: Pemberton Valley, One Mile Lake, Mackenzie, Mosquito South and Mosquito North.
Pemberton Valley (Easy-Moderate)
A network of easy trails for hikers, horses and bike riders, they start from the Village and with few exceptions, are accessible by users of all abilities. Pemberton Meadows Road is a straight, flat 27km/16mi ride through the potato farming community.

One Mile Lake (Intermediate-Difficult)
This trail network begins at One Mile Lake just 1km/.6mi south of Pemberton off Hwy 99. From the park at the lake head, it's a steep and rooty climb with switchbacks and loose rocky sections.
Mt Currie Views
Crest out at a rock bluff for a stunning view of Mt Currie before deciding on three options: head to the top of K2 and a direct descent to the lake; hurtle down Lumpy's Epic, a classic xc singletrack ride that finishes in the Village; or climb to the Tower of Power (literally, a hydro tower) for rock slap riding that finishes at Nairn Falls campground. Ride Hwy 99 back to town.
Mosquito Lake (Intermediate-Difficult)
With trail names like Meat Grinder, Mission Impossible and Grumpy Grouse, Mosquito South challenges expert bikers. These are biker-only routes; easier trails are open to hikers.
Mosquito North Trails
On the Mosquito North side of the lake are two main trails with a number of minor offshoots. They are generally easier than the South Side trails, suitable for intermediate riders (with a few technical options to keep the more advanced interested) and ideal for trail running, horse riding and snowshoeing.
Mackenzie (Difficult)
Accessed via the steep, deactivated Cell Tower Road, this area contains some of the steeper, more aggressive trails that have made ‘freeriding' the hip thing to do in Pemberton. While these trails are tough, they are still fun for expert cross-country riders.
Practical Information
Bikers should stay on designated trails since unmanaged trails can damage archeological sites, destroy sensitive environments and generate conflicts with other important land uses.
