Vehicle rentals are found at Mic Ridge Auto Rentals in Invermere. When driving in winter, appropriate season tires and chains are essential. Keep in mind that avalanches can cause road closures in mountain pass areas.
Car Travel
The closest major city to Panorama Mountain Village is Calgary, Alberta (292km/181mi to the east). Follow the Trans-Canada Highway through Banff, Alberta. Turn at Castle Mountain Junction onto Highway 93, and drive through Kootenay National Park to Radium Hot Springs, turning south into the Windermere Valley. Turn right at the Invermere exit, pass by the outflow of Lake Windermere, cross a railway bridge and turn right onto Panorama Drive. This two-lane road follows the valley of Toby Creek for the last 18km/11mi into Panorama Mountain Village.

Panorama is a two-day (850km/528mi) journey from the coast. From Vancouver, take highways 1 and 5 to Golden, and then follow Highway 95 through the Columbia Wetlands to Invermere.
Visitors travelling from the south should follow Highway 93/95 up the Rocky Mountain Trench. Highway 95 passes through Cranbrook (150km93mi), connecting with the US border at Eastport, ID, (230km/143mi), while Highway 93 connects with the US border at Roosville, MT (233km/145mi).
Panorama is also a featured stop along a couple of scenic driving routes.
Public Transportation
Greyhound Canada operates a bus service between Invermere and Calgary, Alberta, with one bus per day in each direction. Silver City Stage Lines provides daily service between Cranbrook and Golden, stopping in Invermere.
Panorama operates an airport shuttle from Calgary International on weekends from mid-December through mid-April. The resort also offers shuttle transportation to Invermere, Radium Hot Springs, and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden.
Star Taxi, operating out of the Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook, operates a van and small bus charter service to Panorama.
Air Travel
Both Calgary International Airport and the Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook are within easy driving distance from Panorama Mountain Village. Both airports offer car rentals. Invermere has a small airport that is used primarily by private and charter aircraft.
