The 3rd Annual Branch Out Bike Tour. The tour is a 100 km bike ride that starts and ends at Panorama with the majority of the ride looping Lake Windermere. This year we expect to draw over 300 participants and volunteers and raise over $100,000 for neurological disorders.

Building on Panorama's strong background of hosting races and the National Championships last year we know that it is going to be a fantastic course that will challenge you and put your skills to the test.

The Heart of the Rockies Triathlon is an Olympic Distance Triathlon. The swim takes place in Lake Windermere, followed by an out & back cycle route & a single lap out & back run. It's a spectacular venue in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, with stunning views of Lake Windermere & the mountains. The Heart of the Rockies Triathlon is thrilled to have several family groups participate in both the individual & team events. Come and participate or spectate.

Whether you are a serious competitor or a walk-in-the-park person, Loop the Lake is the event for you, your friends & your family. Complete as much of the course as you choose, at your own pace & comfort level. This 17th annual event welcomes walkers, runners, strollers & the whole family. The Lakeside Splashdown event involves paraglider & hang-glider pilots launching from Mount 7 in Invermere & attempting to land in a lake target for prizes. Enjoy 2 wonderful lakeside events.

The weekend consists of an ultra mountain bike race on Saturday and an ultra running race on Sunday. participants can choose to do either (or both). Team up for the 5 person relay challenge or tackle the entire 42 km as a solo participant. Both races depart from the village at Panorama and gain elevation up the mountain, then loop back down to the village. Relay categories include: all male, all female and mixed.
