Bus / Coach / Shuttle
Bus transportation is available to most Northern BC cities and towns along highways 16 and 97, making it a great option for day excursions, scenic/narrated tours or just getting from place to place. Short or long haul, bus travel is an excellent way to cover plenty of ground affordably.
Greyhound Canada is the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in Canada. It provides scheduled services to more than 200 BC cities and towns, as well as connections throughout Canada and the US.
Greyhound provides direct service from Vancouver and Edmonton, Alberta, to Prince George and from Edmonton and Whitehorse, Yukon, to Dawson Creek. Connecting services are available to other cities and towns along Highway 97 and Highway 16.
BC Transit provides municipal public bus transportation in several northern cities and towns, including Prince George, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Terrace, Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
