Northern BC hot springs are often set in remote wilderness areas. Soak in the nearly tropical thermal springs of Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park. 

Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park

Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park, located on the Alaska Highway, contains one of Canada's largest natural hot springs systems. These springs have created an unusually warm microclimate: tropical, exotic plants (including 14 species of orchids) flourish here. Follow the boardwalk to a rustic pool. Year-round, temperatures range from 42°C to 52°C (107°F to 125°F). For a special retreat, visit the hot springs in winter and relax in the steaming pool as the snow covers the trees.
