One day event located at Grassy Plains Community Hall. Travel south from Burns Lake and take the free ferry ride across Francois Lake to the beautiful Southside area. The Mud Bog is approximately 19 km south of the ferry landing. This is a fun event with "People's Choice Ballot" determining the top three winners. There is also a Children's Fun Run through the pits for rewarding prizes. Admission is $5.00/person for a day of great fun for spectators and $15.00 per each vehicle registered. Full concession on the grounds and no alcohol allowed. Whether you are a "mud bogger" or a spectator you are guaranteed a good time. Lots of prizes!

The annual Chetwynd International Chainsaw Championship draws competitors and spectators from around the world for 3 days of action. Watch and marvel as expert carvers create masterpieces of wood! Free admission to the Chetwynd Rec Centre. Tour de Jasper is an exciting supported tour heading east from Prince George, BC, to Jasper, AB, where you will cycle along some of the most beautiful scenery in Northern, BC.

Participants be assured you'll never be the last one on the road and there is always somebody just ahead. You'll cycle anywhere from 65 km to 115 km each day.

Each night enjoy breathtaking campsites, a healthy dinner and a relaxing campfire. In the morning, after eating a buffet-styled breakfast, you'll set out to climb peaks or coast into mountain valleys.

On the last day enjoy a brunch in Jasper and then take in the sights for a few hours before you sit back and relax on the train ride home.
