Travelling to Northern BC with kids? Make a stop at The Exploration Place Museum and Science Centre. Sit inside an authentic jail cell, hold a tarantula in the Explorations Gallery, learn about paleontology or visit the various galleries.
Motivate the kids to go on a 2km/1.3mi hike by telling them there are dinosaur footprints at the end! An area just outside of Tumbler Ridge has some of BC's most important dinosaur fossil finds, including dino footprints encased in stone.
