Merritt has accommodation options suited to every budget and taste, from historic hotels and standard motels to bed and breakfasts and all-inclusive guest ranches.
Hotels & Motels
Many of Merritt's motels are located along what locals call "Gasoline Alley," just off of exit 290 on the Coquihalla Highway to Vancouver and Kamloops. Gasoline Alley leads into downtown and hosts a number of family-run and chain motels, restaurants, gas stations, and entertainment. Smaller motels are found downtown along Voght Street and Nicola Avenue. A historic hotel and resort is also available nearby.
Resorts and Ranches
Take part in Merritt's culture and history by spending some time at one of the guest ranches just on the outskirts of town, most of which offer an authentic western experience. Horseback riding and fishing are just some of the ranch activities to experience.
RV Parks and Campgrounds
Private campgrounds offering RV and tenting sites are located in and around Merritt. Monck Provincial Park, on the western shore of Nicola Lake, provides easy access to lake beaches from more than 100 vehicle-access campsites. Facilities include picnic tables, pit toilets, fire pits, firewood and water, and a sani-station.
