McBride has just a few dining options in town, but the food and service are tops. Gaze at mountain ridges while enjoying an early morning breakfast, mid-day lunch, or evening dinner.


Looking for a lighter meal or just a coffee? Check out The Beanery 2, located in the McBride Train Station. The Beanery 2 caters to every palate, and special dietary needs with gluten-free options. The McBride Trading Co. (246 Main St) serves homemade delicacies and coffee to go, as well as a variety of bulk goods such as tea and spices.

Casual Fare

Enjoy great atmosphere and décor at the Giggling Grizzly Pub (1st Ave) while enjoying a cozy seat in front of the fire or at one of the tables. Choose from a well-rounded Western-Italian menu. Indulge taste buds at the local Sun Valley Restaurant (N. Frontage Rd, Hwy 16W), which serves Greek options. The Kilin Restaurant (S. Frontage Rd), which serves Chinese cuisine. Main Street Grill (499 Main St) offers a western menu with daily specials.

Grocery Stores

The McBride AG Foods and IGA deli (211 Main St) both serve sandwiches, lunch boxes, and baked goods. Have a picnic at the train station or McBride Village Park across from the train station and Horseshoe Lake, just 1km/0.62mi from the train station.
