There are a handful of restaurants, diners, cafes and pubs in Mackenzie.
Mackenzie is a small northern town, so dining options are limited compared to larger city centers. However, visitors can choose between snacking on burgers, sandwiches and baked treats, as well as some international dishes such as souvlaki and pasta.
Breakfast and lunch options are conveniently located at cafeterias, diners and pubs in the recreation center and the Alexander Mackenzie Mall, as well around downtown Mackenzie. The Mackenzie brochure contains a listing of current restaurants and the Chamber of Commerce can provide additional information about eating out.
The Monte Rosa (520 Mackenzie Blvd) and Merabello (500 Mackenzie Blvd) restaurants provide a more formal atmosphere for an evening out and serve Greek and Italian dishes as well as more basic fare. Sweder's Bakery (#5-320 Mackenzie Blvd) is a perfect place for a sweet, with fresh-baked cherry turnovers, doughnuts, squares and other treats.
