The number of fishing lodges in the Lumby area gives a clue to what anglers can expect.
Monashee Mountain glaciers give rise to the Shuswap River and countless clear running creeks, while the Aberdeen and Greystokes plateaus host abundant small lakes. At lower elevations, several nearby lakes provide excellent fish habitat.
Troll, cast or fly-fish for rainbow and lake trout, Dolly Varden, Coho, Chinook and Kokanee salmon.
Highlight Fishing Spots
Mabel Lake Provincial Park, located 60km/37mi northeast of Lumby, provides excellent access, including boat launch, to this 34km/21mi-long lake in the interior rainforest. Fish for large lake and rainbow trout, Dolly Varden, Kokanee and, in late summer, Chinook. The park also offers a sandy beach, campsites, interpretive trails and playground.

We are a family oriented facility, we have 7 housekeeping cabins & 35 campsites, boat launch, boat, kayak, pedal boat & canoe rentals. Our convenience store has the basic groceries, fishing tackle & licences as well as pop, candy & souvenirs. No pets, quads or dirt bikes allowed on property.
