The Heritage Explorers is an event which is held at the Revelstoke Museum & Archives every Tuesday & Thursday in July & August. It's a kids' educational program. Each week has a theme which involves doing crafts & activities learning about the history of Revelstoke & area. For example, one week the theme is Butter & Biscuits which is an annual theme & involves the kids making butter.

Market Fest is back for three nights this summer! Downtown Baker Street is transformed into a lively night market featuring 100 vendors, live music, dance performances, kids entertainment and more. Fun for the whole family, and not to be missed. The fun runs from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. A $5 donation for admission is kindly requested for anyone over 18. Everyone is welcome, whether you make a donation or not!

Tours, with a pre-planned route, can be started from the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel, or you can plan your own itinerary

The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre, dedicated to the collection, conservation, research, exhibition, and interpretation of objects which represent the life and condition of Japanese Canadians living in the New Denver and West Kootenay region between 1942 and 1957, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary! We will be inviting taiko performers, martial arts demonstrators, Nikkei artists and presenters, and will also be offering a tasting of Japanese foods and beverages. We will be holding a fundraising dinner and a silent auction open to the public to help support the ongoing preservation of this important National Historic Site of Canada. This FREE celebratory day will be open to all!
