Galleries & studios are open to the public from Riondel to Crawford Bay through Creston to Yahk, & offer everything from blown and stained glass, pottery, ceramics, beadwork, fabric art, candle making and ironwork to straw brooms. Vendors selling a variety of items such as clothing, jewelry, soaps, crafts, pottery, food, beverages and much more will be set up along the Esplanade starting at the end of Spokane Street all the way down into Jubilee Park beginning Friday June 14th and every other Friday after that through to September 20th. Join us on July 1st in Nakusp, with a Pancake Breakfast by the volunteer firefighters, a parade, and then a variety of activities at the community park such as kid's races, games, a concession, and music in the gazebo. As the skatepark lies adjacent to the community park, it is not unusual for a skateboard competition to be held the same day. A fireworks show tops it all off just after dark.
