From 10:00 am-2:00 pm peruse local crafts, produce and art at the Mountain Market in Rotary Park while the kids enjoy the large playground. Then from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, head to Historic Downtown Fernie and 2nd Avenue for Sunday Socials. Each week a different theme is celebrated, from Classic Cars to Sports and Games, with lots of activities taking place.

The Mount 7 flying site in Golden has for more than two decades offered superb conditions while hosting pilots from across North America and around the world. Mount 7 and the Columbia Valley are famous for incredible thermal conditions and excellent cross-country opportunities. Numerous pilots have achieved personal best flights launching from Mount 7. Golden is one of Canada's mecca for foot-launched flying.
