Car Rental
There is long and short-term paid parking at the airport. Budget Car & Truck Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car have service counters at the airport. Reservations are recommended as the airport is small and availability is not guaranteed.
Scheduled Buses and Public Transportation
There is no Greyhound Canada bus depot in Kimberley, however Greyhound does pick-up and drop-off at the Kimberley Husky gas station on Highway 95A.
Public buses are limited, although the Kimberley Transit System provides a bus between Cranbrook and town on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Walking Around Kimberley
Kimberley is visitor-friendly in that it offers many activities – including skiing, golfing, hiking trails and shopping/eating at the Platzl, a pedestrian area – all near the town centre boundaries. As a pedestrian-friendly community with taxi service and seasonal shuttle buses between town and the ski resort, a vehicle isn't always necessary. However, having a car provides more flexibility if considering making Kimberley a home base for day trips in the region or zipping to and from the mountain or Marysville with ease.
