While most travelers arrive at Kimberley Alpine Resort in their own car or recreational vehicle, there are other options for transportation and getting around the resort and town of Kimberley.
Kimberley is situated northwest of Cranbrook on the relatively minor Highway 95A, which meets Highway 95 at Cranbrook (30km/19mi) and further north at Wasa (28km/17mi).
Highway 95 connects with Spokane WA (333km/207mi) via the Canada/US border crossing at Kingsgate, and with the Trans-Canada Highway at Golden, 233km/145mi to the north.
Highway 3 which parallels Highway 95 south of Cranbrook, connects with Castlegar, Nelson, the southern Okanagan Valley and Vancouver. BC's largest city is 879km/547mi to the west. Highway 3 eastbound connects with Fernie, the Crowsnest Pass and southern Alberta. Calgary is 432km/269mi to the east.
